Cooking Timer

A must for the rice, essential for the oven and the eggs. No hovering over the stove.

Cooking is timing: one minute for the tea, 5 for greens, 10 for pasta, 15 for small bakes. Set it, leave your phone on the counter and get the alert right on time. Tick "Continue after zero" to also measure the resting of your dough.

Most-used times

  • 1 min — soft-boiled egg, sauce on the stove, strained tea.
  • 5 min — short-grain white rice, steamed vegetables, brewed coffee.
  • 10 min — fresh pasta, soft-poached egg, legumes.
  • 1530 min — roasts, risottos and desserts in blocks.

Use focus mode (fullscreen) to see the big clock, and there is also a stopwatchto record the timings of your recipes.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best timer for cooking?

Any time works: the important thing is to have a clear alert and be able to leave it counting in the background. This timer rings, vibrates and can even keep counting the extra minutes after zero.

Can I use several timers in the kitchen?

Yes. With "New timer" you create separate timers for each dish at the same time — great when the rice, the oven and the tea finish at different minutes.
